Tammy Shaffer, Ed.D. LPCC, LPC, NCC, LCDC, ACS is an
Assistant Professor in the Department of Counseling and Student Affairs
at Western Kentucky University. She is also the Director of the Talley
Family Counseling Clinic at Western Kentucky University. Her research
interests include trauma and response to disaster, and how to develop

Dr. Clark is Professor Emeritus of Psychology at
Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky where he has
taught in the Department of Psychology for over 30 years. Dr. Clark
received a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from The University of Kansas
in Lawerence. He received traineeship and internship training in
Veterans Hospitals in Topeka, Kansas, Leavenworth, Kansas, and Kansas
City, Missouri. Dr. Clark has extensive professional experience in
community mental health centers, hospitals, counseling centers, and
