Sarah Moore received an MA in Counseling from UNC
Charlotte and has worked in agency and college settings as a mental
health and career counselor. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor
in NC, a Nationally Certified Counselor and is currently a Doctoral
Candidate in Counseling at UNC Charlotte. She has served in various
leadership roles on the national, regional and state level as well as
presenting at the national, regional and local level on of play
therapy, GLBTQA issues, and other counseling related topics. Sarah is
pleased to have Dr. Barret as a mentor and believes that she is a
better counselor and advocate for the GLBTQA population because of her
experiences in the classroom and as a colleague to Dr. Barret.

Bob Barret, Professor Emeritus, University of North
Carolina at Charlotte, has been active in promoting social justice both
in his home community and the American Counseling Association. He
is the co-author of "Counseling Gay Men and Lesbians: A Practice
Primer" and the co-editor of "Ethics in HIV-related Psychotherapy:
Clinical Decision Making in Complex Cases." Over his career
his writings focus on parenting, issues of grief and loss, and clinical
services to the sexual minority community. He continues to be
active in private practice in Charlotte.
