Jill A. Geltner, Ph.D., NCSC is an assistant
professor in the Department of Psychology and Counseling at Valdosta
State University. She received her doctorate in Counselor
Education from the University of Florida. After working for many years
as a school counselor, she now teaches and supervises school
counselors-in-training. Her areas of interest and research include
middle school counseling, school counselors and classroom management,
and helping school counselors work with students in exceptional student
education.

Katharine S. Adams, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology and Counseling
at Valdosta State University. She received her doctorate degree in
Counseling Psychology and School Psychology from Florida State
University. Her professional experiences include elementary and
middle-school education and psychological assessment and counseling.
Her research interests include the post-secondary success and retention
of students with and without disabilities.
